I'm Brooke. I'm a dedicated mom to a lively one-year-old son. I balance marriage and motherhood with my passion for animals. I have quite a unique background in the animal field that has fostered my love for building harmonious connections between canines and their owners.
My Story
I've had a variety of interesting jobs in the animal field ranging from zookeeper, veterinary technician to dog trainer. As a graduate from Millersville University and Sante Fe College Teaching Zoo, I've got a passion for ALL creatures. I got my start training a wide range of exotic animals while receiving my degree in Zoo Animal Technology. I've worked as an animal ambassador, trainer and performer at Busch Gardens Tampa where I found her love for connecting people and animals. I later went on to begin my career as a zookeeper at Brevard Zoo where I trained big cats, monkeys, apes, birds of prey, small mammals, and even reptiles! Some behaviors that I focused on included voluntary injection, ultrasounds, x-rays, and body presentations! After leaving the zoo field and moving to Charlotte, I became a certified Professional Dog Trainer (PCT-A). My experience using positive reinforcement training techniques with a variety of species allowed me to gain a wealth of knowledge!
